In less than two weeks, astronauts will launch from the Kennedy Space Center aboard Space X's Dragon capsule! This will mark the first time American astronauts will launch from American soil since the Space Shuttle. Not only that, but it will be the first ever completely private company flying astronauts to space.

This event is incredibly special, it marks a very big milestone for the whole industry and in the development of human space-flight.

To mark the occasion, Space X has launched a fantastic ISS docking simulatorusing their Dragon interface. See what the astronauts will have to do to dock to the International Space Station. Can you do it?

If you want to watch the live stream of the launch on the 27th May, check out the SpaceX YouTube channel. They always offer fantastic live coverage of all launches.

We also love to watch it on the Everyday Astronauts channel. They also have great coverage and commentary on the launch. You can tune in before the launch and get a run down on the launch with their presenter Tim Dodd. Highly recommended!
